Went to the Coles Deli at lunch today. There was a little old lady waiting patiently at the counter, she held a neatly written shopping list in her shaky grip.
Then it came time for her to be served...
"May I please have one dollar sixty worth of ham please?" her slow frail old lady voice spoke. The counter man grabbed some ham a wieghed it up "Did you say a dollars worth?"
"No I'd like one dollar sixty worth thankyou." she repeated kindly.
The man grabbed more ham, "This wieghs in at $1.80, that alright?"
The dear old lady paused to consider for a moment and then said..
"Uh well I suppose I do have visitors today so yes."
